South Coast Renewable Energy Experts Go Eco Consultancy Co. Ltd (GEC-Co), based in Southampton, continues to expand their important commercial portfolio of Heat Pump installations which replace traditional fossil fuel heating systems.
Following the successful installation of 400kW of Heat Pumps at an Air Base near Basingstoke reported recently, Gec-co has now secured a further 300 kW Heat Pump design and installation contract at Southend Airport, funded by The Carbon Trust zero per cent Loan Scheme. Together these installations will reduce carbon emissions by 750 tons per year.
Conrad Gauntlett, Managing Director, said ‘the GEC-Co team are delighted with our continuing growth in both domestic and commercial Heat Pump installations. In conjunction with our growth in this sector in excess of 300% per year, we are now promoting and installing Photovoltaic panels (PV) to generate electricity, which is the ideal renewable energy compliment to our Heat Pump systems. The foundation of our growth is customer referrals and recommendations which is even more satisfying’.
Renewable Energy Technologies offered by GEC-Co benefit customers not only by reducing Carbon Emissions and running costs by replacing fossil fuel boilers and installing micro-generation systems, but also attract the newly introduced Feed in Tariffs and proposed Renewable Heating Incentive, worth together in excess of £1,000 per year tax free to our average domestic customers.
