Seab Energy Announce Wind Turbines To Power Uk Homes

Press Release
20 May 2009

SEaB ENERGY announces the installation of their Windbuster and Muckbuster in the UK and the USA in July.

SEaB Energy is due to install 4 Windbusters and 1 Muckbuster in the UK and 3 Windbusters in the USA in July 2009. The Windbuster will provide the full energy requirements of a family home and can be connected back to the grid. Taking advantage of the newly enhanced ROC’s introduced April 1st, 2009, the payback time for the turbine and digester have been cut in half.

The Windbuster is a vertical axis 5kw wind turbine, 6 meters high and 3.5 meters wide. The turbine captures wind from all directions and is made of a proprietary recycled plastic mix. “We plan to power many more homes, small businesses, and schools with our unique, light weight wind turbine. Its size and weight allow it to be roof or ground mounted and its design is eye-catching, making it an ideal way to make your own green energy”, says Nick Sassow, Managing Director and co-founder of SEaB Energy.

Muckbuster takes organic waste and converts it into biogas. “Homeowners can convert their septic systems into an energy source, rather than paying a waste collection service” says Nick Sassow, “and other businesses can use the bi-products of the system: Fertiliser, CO2, and dry lignin, to increase the output and cut costs in their businesses”. Scaled to meet the requirements of users producing 20 - 80 litres per day of waste
